𝐇𝐢 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬, this video is all about some tips and tricks I often used in my stainless steel welding. In my past, I built a lot of stainless steel projects with a stick welder and as time pasts it teaches a lot and this video is all about those things. There are only two ways to do good welding on stainless steel. One is either getting a tig welding machine and do it inexpensively ways or the second is improving your skills to ease the welding work. There is one more method in which you can convert your regular stick welding machine into a tig welding machine just with few basic things and this trick is definitely effective. Definitely, there is some amount of argon gas wasted but I think If you have builds with thin sheets over some area then this tip will help you a lot. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐢𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 If you bought a product and ever have doubted that what grade it has then you should definitely need to know this. There is a grade tester chemical available in the market which is called grade tester, just simply pour it onto the workpiece and if it contains more iron content then it changes to red color and it belongs to 202 grade. Stainless steel Grade Tester Dye 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 Welding thin sheets is a bit more tricky and one good method I found and learn from pother welder is by changing the polarity of the holder and the earthing clamp. Definitely recommend you try out this strategy. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 Sometimes during welding there are hard-to-reach areas where it's difficult to grind the welded surface in those areas it's always good to use a pickling agent and leave it for 30-45 minutes and it's done. You have a surface free from black oxide. Pickling Agent (Weld bright) 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 In thin tubing often material gets sagged during excessive heat and you avoid that its good to have a sheet in the middle of the joint which is going to avoid the sagging and usually it will not matter if you are going to keep it as it is. But if you are going to polish it the sagged joint reflects the light differently. 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 Filling the gaps looks difficult but it's very easy to do. The key to success is to minimize the air gap and weld it normally. At first it is not going to look pretty and that's normal but if you follow the three rules then it's a sure success Weld, cool, Clean. These all Tricks will help to any beginner welder or amature welders. In this tips I explain all tips which you can use in your daily welding work. I hope you will learn something out of this video and my video will help you in your work. whatever product i used in my video i will add in the description section. whatever help you required related to welding tips you can ask me via comment down below. subscribe for more Tricks tips like that. #stinlesssteel #stainlesssteelwelding #weldingtips
