Some short clips from my lens/scenes tests with the Blackmagic Design Ursa Mini Pro 12K. ***All shot with safety/health precautions in place *** It's mainly shot in 12K but with 2 clips or so in 8K (and one in 12K 2x anamorphic). My experience so far has been excellent. One of the first things I noticed was how dense the colors were and how flexible the Blackmagic raw files are. There's a lot of variations that you can end up in when grading, and that's a great thing. In addition, there’s a sort of 3-D feel to the images (at least for me) that I’m a big fan of. The game-changer is the sensor. It’s nice to have the flexibility to go from 12K to 8K/4K if one fits your workflow better. I’ve mostly shot in 12K/8K, with the deciding factor being if there’s fast movement on-screen or required of the camera. The 8K RSI time is the fastest of any camera and goes toe to toe with the best 4K cameras.
