What up Bush Fam!! First I want to say Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Pops Mr. Ray Jones!! Retired Marine of 26 years, you served your country, friends, and family beyond the call of duty. You passed last July and it still feels unreal. A bad movie. Straight up nightmare. The family and I have never been the same and never will be. It hurts bad but I am at peace knowing you're at peace and I gained a guardian angel! You like Mom, Mrs. Anita Jones, your wife of 39 years led by example. You didn't acknowledge any hate or the miserable people at all and like you I never will. Not worth one waisted breathe. Hurt people hurt people. I remember that 24 hour drive across the country with you like it was yesterday. Hoping out in the middle of the dessert to pee cause we both couldn't make it. Rock, paper, scissor on who's driving the last 2 hours, just me and you talking about everything and nothing. I remember being around 6 or 7 sitting on your lap cruising in the Mustang driving up that mountain and I almost unalived the whole family when you pointed out the snow . I remember me being 7 or 8 and standing in the driveway playing catch with you in your full uniform. You kept throwing rockets at me and I kept saying too fast and you were always teaching me a lesson about life. Life comes at you fast. It's on you how you react to it. I remember the first time you came to my baseball game to support me, sitting in the crowd with Uncle Mike cheering me on. Ended up being my best hitting game in highschool. I remember crossing you up in the backyard in the snow when you bought my first basketball hoop for Christmas. I remember you teaching me how to drive in that grey bonneville in Walnut Park in St Louis, going up and down the one-ways. You were the first person I called when I got my Pilots license. First person I told when I lost my virginity. You said you better had wrapped that sh*t up lol. You yelling and cheering me on at my highschool and college graduation. I remember you staying up with me all night when I was 15 being young and dumb and my so called friend dropped me off drunk but didn't walk me in the house. You found me on the side of the house at 4am drunk passed out with alcohol poisoning. You were the first person I saw when I came too. You stayed up that whole night clearing out my throat with your finger making sure your son could breathe. You taught me that day about the difference between friends and associates. I remember helping you out at the BBQ shop day after day just sitting up there you and Mr. Richard both teaching me how to run a business and that just because your an owner doesn't mean you can't take out the trash. You constantly telling me how proud you are of me up to the last couple days you were here. I've NEVER felt more alone in this world then the moment I saw you take your last breathe. Thank God for Juanita, Zanetta, and Mom because I was completely broken and they picked up the broken pieces. They still are to this day. Thank you Pop for being my Dad. Thank you for your constant sacrifices to take care of your friends and family every single day. You were always one call away and were always there if I needed you. I didn't live with you until I was 13 but you were always there. Love you Mr. Jones. This is the first birthday since your passing and I am definitely feeling it. To everyone out there going through something, you are NOT alone. Sending my love and strength to you all!! Happy early Mothers day to all the Mothers out there but especially mine!! I was raised by a Queen that leads by example. Mrs. Anita Jones has always been my biggest supporter in everything I do. A lot of people cannot say the same and my heart breaks for you. The bond I have with my Mom is UNBREAKABLE. When I'm feeling down she encourages me. When I'm feeling on top of the world, she humbles me. If I am out of line she corrects me. She didn't raise me to be her friend but her Son and we became friends. Thank you Mom for ALWAYS being there and having my back. I cannot ever repay you for all the sacrifices you have been through year after year to provide for your family and those around you but you know I'm going to try!! Love you forever and I cannot wait to see you in a couple weeks!! 💙💪🏾 I filmed this video on the Riverwalk and street level in San Antonio, Texas, USA just this past week and weekend. I don't know why the guys pushing the strollers freak out like that but it always cracks me up lol. I hope you all enjoy this one because I did making it! It's supposed to rain all week here in San Antonio so I will try to film during the dry times. If not, compilation time? Much love to you all and stay blessed!! Until next time.. I Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week!! Be nice. Editor: Eric Wiley p.s. hasn't he been killing these edits?!
