Token of appreciation - New Zealanders - present prior to their departure home. Location of events unknown. New Zealanders present flags to English people who have helped during their stay. Crowd of soldiers; a few nurses; etc. with circle cleared in middle. New Zealand soldier carrying flag; it is passed to an officer; then to a nurse; and presented to some local British official. Pan group of those being honoured. Another ceremony; this one outdoors. DS pan as one soldier hands flag to another; then an officer speaks a few words to a priest; and he is given the flag. CU the priest with flag; soldiers. Someone else gets a flag. DS street with crowd; ceremony in progress. Pan left over street — same as first shot; with circle of soldiers; nurses; but also shows spectators in back on side walk ; brass band also in back. Then shot of New Zealand flag hanging from balcony over street. Nurse step out onto balcony. Front shot of this — Mayor; nurses; etc. on balcony. Then repetitive shots of the garden
