Germany: Police search properties and vehicle in Saarland following killing of two police officers

Police were seen searching properties and a vehicle in Reimsbach and Sulzbach, Saarland, Monday, following the killing of two policemen in Rhineland-Palatinate earlier in the day. Two suspects aged 38 and 32 were later arrested in Sulzbach in connection with the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old female police officer and her 29-year-old male colleague in a routine traffic stop. According to the police, two properties, one in Reimsbach and one in Sulzbach and a white van were searched. At least one gun was found and seized during the searches.
