Today, you can 3D print everything from food to organs. But perhaps one of the most impressive uses of 3D printers is when they produce printed buildings. Indeed, to make 3D-printed houses and cabins, you need some pretty advanced and massive equipment. Luckily, this technology now exists, and it makes for 3D structures that are practical, cheap to manufacture, often eco-conscious, and most of all, absolutely beautiful. In this video, we bring you examples of 3D buildings you have to see to believe. There’s the Kamp C house. This 2-story house was 3D printed as a single unit. It was printed on-site in just three weeks. There's also the New Story ICON Échale, which is the world’s first 3D-printed house community. The community will have 50 3D-printed homes. The Eco Sustainable 3D-printed house we have featured is printed entirely of reusable and recyclable material. Soil, rice waste, and stabilizers are used as printing materials. Then, there is the Project Milestone, which is a 3D-printed house that looks like a giant boulder. The walls were made with printed concrete layers. Finally, the Mighty Buildings' 3D-printed ADU's are printed with light stone material. The material hardens when exposed to light and is also resistant to moisture and fire. Have we piqued your curiosity yet? Want to see all that 3D printers can achieve in terms of building houses? Then watch our video for more of these impressive examples.
