After dropping the WWF title to Yokozuna at WrestleMania IX and then after Hulk Hogan captured the championship minutes later, Bret felt that everything he had worked for was handed over to the Hulkster. At the next PPV, King of the Ring 1993, Bret decided that he would not only have the best three matches on the card, but three of the best matches of his entire career.
