Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday that Moscow did not want war with Ukraine and spoke positively about the security proposals recently received from the U.S., adding they were better than the proposals received from NATO. He said he plans to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in the coming weeks for more discussions. However, he also criticized the U.S., saying it was using what he called the “regime“ of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to stoke tensions with Moscow.
