As requested by Achidri Donald, here is an upgraded and complete version of the band's first night in Berkeley at the tail end of their 1971 North American tour. I had previously uploaded a version of this show to my channel, but YouTube blocked two of the songs, and the version I used was more processed and noise reduced. This version is an upgrade, being more natural sounding. The tape is a little distant, but otherwise pretty clear, and the performance is just as good, if not better, than the performance the following night, which would become immortalized on the classic “Going to California“ bootleg. Special thanks to Bob Menke for taping this! 0:00 Intro 0:41 Immigrant Song 4:52 Heartbreaker 13:26 Since I've Been Loving You 21:56 Black Dog 27:44 Dazed and Confused 50:32 Stairway to Heaven 1:00:20 Celebration Day 1:05:50 That's The Way 1:13:26 Going to California 1:18:59 What Is and What Should Never Be 1:24:14 Moby Dick 1:46:51 Whole Lotta Love 2:10:36 Communication Breakdown Bootleg: Sony TC D40 with built in mic - Cass(M) (2 x TD SD 120) - MAC - Nakamichi CR7a - Korg MR-1000 - DSF [1-bit MHz Stereo] - Korg MR-1000 - Korg AudioGate - wav@24/96 - flac@24/96 - TLH - wav@24/96 - Adobe Audition * (32/96 float) - wav@16/48
