Today I'm taking you on a walking tour of one of Mexico City's most popular areas: the Centro Historico. Starting in the Zocalo, or main square, this was also the main square of the ancient Aztec (Mexica) city of Tenochtitlan. You can do this tour by yourself or join a walking tour with a hostel or other group (like Estacion Mexico). I highly recommend a walking tour with a guide that can give you all the history and background! There is so much to learn. The stops I'll take in this video are: 1. Zocalo / Constitution Plaza 2. Catedral Metropolitana 3. Templo Mayor 4. Plaza de Santo Domingo 5. Avenida Cinco de Mayo 6. House of Tiles / Casa de los Azulejos 7. Palacio de Correos de Mexico / Postal Palace 8. Palacio de Bellas Artes / Fine Arts Palace 9. Don Porofirio Cafe 10. Alameda Central 11. Barrio Chino / Chinatown
