I made some BT21 themed shaker charms! I love the simplicity of these characters so I tried to portray that in my pieces. Who’s your favorite character? I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care. Watch my resin safety video for more info: Supplies I used were purchased from many places including my local craft stores, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Sophie&Toffee, Miniature Sweets, and Aliexpress Resin I use: affiliate links are marked with * -*Liquid diamond casting resin: code for 20% off : CRAFTERSDELIGHTS20) -Faux Rizzle Noveau coating resin: -UV-LED resin: Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects? I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming. Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. On the other hand, doming resin (AKA coating resin) is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish. Videos for Resin Beginners: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Come follow me on my social medias for my craft update, YT updates, giveaways and more!
