An overnight fire destroyed some servers and put others in temporary shutdown at data centre belonging to cloud computing company OVHcloud, in Strasbourg, eastern France, as seen on Wednesday. OVHcloud recommended its clients activate their disaster recovery plans after the blaze. “Fire destroyed SBG2. A part of SBG1 is destroyed. Firefighters are protecting SBG3. No impact SBG4,“ posted OVHCloud's founder and chairman Octave Klaba on Twitter, naming different units' housing servers. After having accessed the damage with firefighters, Octave Klaba also announced his plan to rebuild the servers in the next couple of weeks. The Strasbourg building is one of OVHcloud's 15 data centres across France, and one out of 27 worldwide. #Strasbourg #France #OVHCloud Video ID: 20210310-023 Video on Demand: Contact: cd@ Twi
