Tbilisi Metro Akhmeteli-Varketili Line (First Line): Akhmeteli Theatre Station Varketili Station

In this video, we invite you to take a ride along the first line of the #Tbilisi #Metro from north to south, starting from Akhmeteli Theater station and ending at #Varketili station. To cover the entire line, it will take us just a little over half an hour. The #TbilisiMetro, the only one in #Georgia, became the fourth metro system in the USSR with the opening of the first segment of this line - #Didube to #Rustaveli. This significant event took place on January 11, 1966. The latest segment, #Guramishvili to #AkhmeteliTheater, opened on November 7, 1989. Since then, no new stations have been added to this line, despite plans for its extension.
