November 22, 1963 As the news was breaking that President Kennedy had been shot in Dallas, TV 8 reporters went downtown to get reaction from stunned San Diegans. In the first group of interviews conducted by Jim Price, the news was that he was shot and not yet declared dead. Price and others listen to the news on a car radio. A man said he hoped it wasn’t as serious as it sounded. Seeing it in real time as the tragedy was unfolding is still chilling and surreal 60 years later. November 24 Death of Lee Harvey Oswald—Harold Keen gets reactions from San Diegans.
