The recording session of the album “Teatro d'ira“ at the Mulino Records studios. The whole album was recorded live - for those who were wondering why does this live session sound so similar to the released tracks - it's because this session actually is the one they put out as the official tracks. Q: This record represents a great maturation for Måneskin. A record that, as you said, was recorded live and is reminiscent to live concerts. How was this project born? Victoria: Our main goal came following a maturation that took place over the years. We have done many concerts in Italy and also abroad. And in the concerts we understood what our most natural form is. We made our first album we were all much younger. Over the years, both learning on a personal level and from experiences at live performances, we understood that we wanted this crudeness, to bring back the analogue climate and to let the instruments be heard. Damiano: At Mulino, where everything was born, all the experiments took place between the four of us in the room. Everything was the result of sounds, amplifications and instruments. We wanted to record with an analog desk and transmit the live dimension inside the record. The goal was to be together and have fun and not set us any limits. Thomas: Live is a concept that we have always carried with us. We will always continue to live through live performances. Because if you think about our origins, we started as buskers, playing in the street, which was a school for us: you have to conquer the public there. And we aimed to conquer it by always trying to be ourselves. Basically we have always been a power trio with vocals. This is why the new record was made live and consequently the sound is raw. We brought out our nature and we wanted to bring it out the same way we do when we are on the stage.
