First rule for the New Balance of Power: Don’t trust the Collective West. Second rule: Don’t trust the Collective West. Third rule: Don’t trust the Collective West. (Bonus rule in case you are part of the Collective West: Don’t trust your allies) For success in the New Balance of Power, make sure you never break one of these rules and DO YOUR OWN THING. If Collective West says “Go fight Russia with our weapons” politely say “thanks, but I think, I’ll stay neutral.” If Collective West says “Help us bomb and kill more Arabs” politely say “thanks, but I think I’ll stay neutral. You can negotiate peace here at my place.” If Collective West says “Stop buying XYZ from the other guy and strangle their economy” politely say, “thanks, but I think I’ll stay neutral and make a really great profit while you guys starve your own economies.” You got the idea. Just do what’s good for you 👍 --------------------- Professor Anuradha Chenoy is a specialist of international affairs who has worked for decades especially on Russia, Human Security, Arms Trade, and Peace building.
