DAOKO - 「おちゃらけたよ」 “Ocharaketayo“ Daoko explained about this song in her blog post. This song was written a year and a half ago so it's not about the current situation (pandemic) and it's a total coincidence that the word “漏れ出す疫病“(leaking epidemic) was used. It's actually about how she feels being in Shibuya, where she spent her teenage years. The city has been rapidly changing with redevelopment/urban renewal and there are so many new buildings that block her view when she looks up to the sky. That makes her feel uneasy and she feels as if she (or human being) doesn't belong here. Every step she takes makes her feel like the psychological distance between her and the city is just getting further.
