For a second time, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominated Todd Rundgren for the Performers Class of 2021. I fan-voted for Todd on as my #1 choice. He deserves to be inducted. Official Fan Leaderboard current standings place him #12 of 16 artists. Who are your favorite nominees? On February 10, 2021, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced the following Nominees for 2021 Induction (in alphabetical order): Mary J. Blige, Kate Bush, Devo, Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, JAY-Z, Chaka Khan, Carole King, Fela Kuti, LL Cool J, New York Dolls, Rage Against the Machine, Todd Rundgren, Tina Turner, and Dionne Warwick. #RockHall2021 #ToddRundgren #HOF I Saw the Light is performed by Todd Rundgren in 1972. Released as the opening track from his double-album Something/Anything?, Todd intended the song to be the hit of the album and copied the Motown tradition of putting hit songs at the beginning of the album. The single peaked at #16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1972
