I've tried to take an unusual timelapse when the Moon was setting below the horizon. I've found an interesting spot, from which at a certain moment shortly before the Moon disappeared beyond the skyline, it was aligned with a local hill in Košice called Červený breh (red coast) that is 3 kilometers away. I've asked my friends - bikers to go there early morning for photo shooting :-) This was the second try for this occasion. The first one happened day before and you can check it here: Why Pink Supermoon? Supermoon is a full moon that appear bigger in the sky than usual. That’s because it coincides with the moon's arrival at perigee, the closest point to Earth in its orbit. It can appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than when it is at its farthest from Earth. And why pink? It has nothing to do with its color. This full moon got its name after the herb pink moss, which is one of the earliest spring flowers appearing in the United States.
