North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has returned home from a trip to Russia, state media reported. Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Kim deepened “comradely fellowship and friendly ties” with Putin during his Russia trip. The state media also called Kim Jong Un’s trip to Russia an “official goodwill visit”. According to KCNA, Kim's train crossed a border river on Sept. 18 and reached Pyongyang on Sept. 19. Kim was greeted by the “ardent” cheers of a huge crowd at a Pyongyang rail station, as per KCNA reports. Kim's trip to Russia, which began last Tuesday and included a summit with Putin, was his longest foreign travel as a leader.
