I had the tremendous pleasure of collaborating once again with Jonita and Sahil. Story Behind the Music: So back in the Spring of 2012 when the original song was doing its rounds on the promo circuits, I was getting a lot of requests to cover it. I spent a few days arranging and recording the piano track, before shooting it over to Jonita for the vocals. After that, it just sort of faded into the oblivion of my hard drive. Several months later I flew up to Toronto to visit Jonita and Sahil, where we happened to stumble upon the song once again. It still sounded pretty good to us, so Sahil and I spent several sleepless nights jamming and arranging the flute parts until we finally got something the gelled for us. What happened next? Absolutely nothing. Once again, we got caught up on other projects and the track was simply forgotten. Until last month when the three of us found ourselves together once again in Mumbai. We revived the song, put some finishing touches on it, and finally recorded a video. The key was that after almost a year, it still sounded good to us.
