Government minister Huw Merriman has said that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will give an update to Parliament on Tuesday following the latest round of air strikes on Houthi targets. He also said it was his understanding that Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle had been alerted beforehand, despite briefings to the contrary. Mr Merriman said he did not know how many Houthi sites had been targeted by British forces during the second set of air strikes.
