Hawk tracks down the one-armed man from Cooper’s dream, a shoe salesman named Philip Michael Gerard who seems to know nothing about the dream spirits; however, he does have a friend named Bob, a veterinarian, which Cooper connects to Laura’s bird bites. Josie discovers that Ben is plotting with Catherine. The veterinarian’s office contains the same twine used to bind Laura’s wrists. Shelly gives Leo’s bloodstained shirt to Bobby, which he takes to Jacques’s apartment to frame Leo for Laura’s murder. Going through the veterinarian’s files, Andy finds a bird that matches the description of Laura’s bites belonging to Jacques. Ben meets with Leo, arranging to have the sawmill burned. James and Donna, having heard of Sarah’s nightmare, discover Laura’s locket has been stolen.
