Give the seeds one or two days to soak. The water will assist in removing any gelatinous coating on the seeds at this time, which might prevent germination. Remove the seeds from the water after a couple of days and spread them out on some paper towels to dry. Plant the seeds in a pot or straight in the ground after they have dried. Make sure to plant them where there is abundant sunlight and soil that drains well. Regularly water the soil, keeping it moist but not soggy. You should see tiny tomato seedlings after a week or two.
