In Israel, protests have become a tradition on Saturdays. Demonstrators once again demanded the replacement of the current ultra-Orthodox government led by Benjamin Netanyahu and the Likud party, as well as a deal with the Palestinian Hamas movement to exchange hostages. The largest demonstrations were in Tel Aviv, where thousands of people - mostly relatives of kidnapped Israelis and left-wing opposition activists - gathered near the government complex. There were no reports of clashes with the police. Despite the scale of the events, they are unlikely to lead to significant changes at the moment. The country's authorities are clinging to power solely through the continuation of the war with Hamas and Hezbollah. Therefore, they will not want to sign any ceasefire agreements in the near future. #Israel Source: Rybar in English
