A crowd of bystanders burned an unmanned taxi in San Francisco By the way, unmanned taxis have been there since 2023. And not many people like it. Firstly, driverless cars often block the roads. Secondly, there have been a couple of accidents involving such cars over the past year. And as an appetiser: in California they are actively fighting against unmanned carriers. Because they’ve taken jobs away from migrants. This car was lucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It rolled into San Francisco’s Chinatown neighbourhood, where a crowd of pedestrians were celebrating Chinese New Year. Luckily, there was no passenger inside. But the car took a beating.
