Outbreak can be accessed after The Evacuation is completed. Jim Raynor and Dr. Hanson have learned that an infestation is on the planet Meinhoff, where the colonists from the mission The Evacuation were sent. They go in to investigate and discover that an extremely virulent Zerg virus has taken over the planet. The virus has infested all the buildings and all the colonists on the planet, so Raynor moves in to eliminate the infestation.
