The Center for Critical Democracy Studies at The American University of Paris is organizing a Special Lecture with Étienne Balibar entitled “What is engagement?” This lecture is organized in partnership with the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade (IFDT) and the Center for Advanced Studies Southeast Europe at the University of Rijeka (CAS SEE). On this occasion, Étienne Balibar will receive the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory’s Annual Award for Critical Engagement “Miladin Životić”. The event will be moderated by Professor Philip Golub (AUP) and Zona Zaric (MA AUP).
