It was produced in 1952 and released in 1953. It is meant to demonstrate how the church regulates teenage behavior. The screenplay, initially written by Virginia Cooke, illustrates how a father discovers multiple ways he influences his son's actions. By refusing to attend church, he observes his son getting into trouble due to reckless driving. The two guys talk about the church group as one sits down and the other stands next to him (10:28). The woman brings food as the others are sitting at the kitchen table (11:13). The couple talk as the man reads the newspaper and the others are cleaning up the table (11:44). The couple discuss the invitation of their neighbour as the young siblings are watching (12:18). Young man walks into the library of his father as he is writing (13:38). They talk as the son is asking for the father’s car (14:02). Grandpa is gardening as the neighbour walks by (14:33). They both look at the insecticide and talk about the roses (14:58). They both walk over to check other plants as they continue to discuss the church matter (15:26). The young man comes back to his father’s office and looks for the car keys in his jacket as his sister watches (16:14). The two old men talk about the church in the backyard (16:41). The neighbour wants to go back to his house until grandpa stops him (17:59). The father is playing piano in the living room (18:43) as the young man walks in (19:12). The two young men drive away as the grandpa watches (19:31). They hit a parked car on the road and drive away (20:14). The two men with their fathers discuss the matter with the police officer (20:29). The grandpa walks into the police’s office, and they start watching the parade from the window (22:34). The two fathers discuss what had happened (23:00). They all watch the parade from the window (23:32). The neighbour comes to visit grandpa’s roses in the backyard (24:09) and the two sit down and talk (24:34).
