The Kiryati Brigade has been withdrawn from the Gaza Strip by the IDF, and alternative forces have taken their place in the Khan Younis area, according to the military. Reserve armored brigade troops have been active in Khan Younis recently, carrying out operations that resulted in the elimination of Hamas terrorists and the targeting of the terror group's facilities, states the IDF. In the course of their operations, the brigade utilized drones for intelligence gathering. The 98th Division's offensive in west Khan Younis resulted in the Paratroopers Brigade eliminating several terrorists, seizing weapons, and the 7th Armored Brigade conducting airstrikes on Hamas terrorists. Simultaneously, the 162nd Division is active in northern and central Gaza. The division's 401st Armored Brigade reportedly killed “many terrorists“ and seized weapons in the Shati camp.
