A preacher in Pittsburgh came terrifyingly close to meeting his maker during a sermon on Sunday, when a member of the congregation attempted to shoot him at point blank range. Pastor Glenn Germany was delivering a sermon at Jesus’ Dwelling Place Church, with the service being livestreamed, leading to the attempted shooting being caught on camera. Out of nowhere, a man stands up and points a gun directly at the pastor, who dives for cover. Luckily the man’s gun jams as he pulls the trigger, giving people a chance to wrestle him to the ground and disarm him. Germany says he’d never met the gunman before, although he had seen him in attendance at a few services. When questioned by police, the gunman claimed God had told him to shoot the pastor. However, it would appear God had other ideas, and Germany later said he thanked God for jamming the gun. The gunman has been charged with attempted murder, and may face more charges after a body was discovered at his home, later identified to be a relative. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
