What’s faster in a drag race… a Formula 1 car or a McLaren 570 GT? Supercars are getting faster and faster, both by packing more power and getting lighter. So we're going to compare it to the king of power and lightness, a Formula 1 car! We run these two cars through four challenges: a standing quarter-mile, a rolling quarter-mile, 0-100-0mph acceleration and brake test and finally, our favourite, the Moose Test. The McLaren 570 GT has 562 horsepower and 600Nm of torque, however, it's much heavier at over 1500 kg. This Formula 1 car is a V10 Benetton with 770 hp. It only weighs 525kg, so the power-to-weight ratio is in fact higher than a modern F1 car at 1466 hp/ton. Safe to say, it’s very fast! ⭕ Ferrari 488 Pista vs Corsa with two engines! ⭕ McLaren 570 vs Fastest Caterham Would you like to be featured in a video with your car? Submit it here:
