Few players at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup have a brighter spotlight on them than Alexis Lafrenière, which isn’t surprising considering he is the reigning QMJHL and CHL rookie of the year, and a favourite to go No. 1 in the 2020 NHL draft. But few embrace the expectations quite like Captain Canada.
