Dribbling Reaction This dribbling exercise focuses on developing the dribbling at speed, changing direction with ball, reaction ability, functional technique and improving competitive attitude. Organisation Players and equipment are arranged as shown. Cones are used to create two equal areas in the middle and sign one-one line for the arbiter and the imitator on both sides. Players work in pairs and after each performed exercise they change their roles after the resting period. Identify an arbiter and an imitator. This exercise must be executed after an accurate and intensive warm up of very good quality. Description and Graphics The exercise starts by the arbiter player. When he decides, he has to start with a sudden movement, then dribble the ball with full intensity into his area. He can only get into there between the line of the poles. Within the area, he has the opportunity to move free, he can change the directions even several times, since he can dribble the ball out on both sides. When he leaves the area, he cannot change, but he has to dribble full speed again to get his line as fast as he can. The imitator has to react fast, also dribble the ball with full intensity, copy the arbiter's movement in his own area as quickly as possible, then he has to get his line fast.
