Austria: Piano prodigy dedicates Viennese take on Moscow Nights to Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Federal Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz witnessed a musical performance by a young pianist who played a song specially composed for the Russian leader, following their meeting in Vienna on Tuesday. SOT, Alma Deutscher, composer (German): “I would like to play a little fantasia for you. I wanted to compose something special for President Putin, but I didn’t have enough time for that, because I learned about it [visit] only three days ago.“ SOT, Sebastian Kurz, Austrian Chancellor (German): “He [Vladimir Putin] speaks German very well, you can continue.“
