Winter & Holiday Container Ideas

I’ve put together a collection of my winter and holiday container ideas hoping it will help you come up with fun ideas whether simple or extravagant for you winter and holiday containers. I typically use Frazier, Pine, Cedar for greens from my local garden center or Home Depot or Lowe’s Red twig or Cardinal dogwood, fresh willow branches, magnolia from local garden centers. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Steins Gardens can be good places for various fillers Lights you can find almost anyplace these days. The containers by the greenhouse are battery operated. The ones in the front yard along the walkway are plug in. Lights in front pots are plugged into a timer and into the house outlet. LED 500 Light 12.8' Warm White Cluster Light Set. I found this set online at Blaine’s Farm and fleet. I also found these at my local Steins Garden Center  The lights in my two containers by the greenhouse are battery operated using type D batteries they come with a timer
