She is determined to solve the planet’s most urgent problems through leveraging exponential technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics and digital biology. In 2012, she founded DIYROCKETS, the first company to crowdsource the development of space technology and in 2011 she co-founded Matternet, a commercial drone company transporting medical goods in the developing world. Previously, Darlene served with Ashoka, the world's largest association of social entrepreneurs for nearly 9 years
