Alcohol Ink on Canvas - “New Beginnings“ - For this one I used Tim Holtz / Ranger ink colors Purple Twilight, Flamingo, and Shell Pink, and Pinata Brass on an 11x14 inch oval shaped canvas. I coated the canvas with 2 coats of Kilz 3 and let it dry before using. Once the painting has dried for a few days I will seal it with around 3 coats of Kamar by Krylon, then 5 or 6 coats of Krylon U.V. Archival. Be sure you let each coat dry completely before you apply another one! I will be putting resin on this one at some point once it has had several days to cure after I apply all the coats of sealant. I'll be sure to show it to all of you once I get it completed. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like once it's all done since the resin will bring out even more color and shine in it!
