I ventured over the range and towards Simi Valley in search of fresh descents, and descents I did find! Black Canyon is the shortest of the descents I rode, but by far the scariest. The road is badly beaten up with holes and long wheel-eating cracks waiting around blind corners. The sections that you can open up on are seriously steep, and before you know it you're hitting 70km/h as a tight blind corner pops up ahead. One of those descents that every time you make it down you'll go 'whew!' and breathe a sigh of relief as a big grins appears on your face.
