Putin told Mahmoud Abbas that Russia is doing everything to support Palestine, with Abbas calling Russia “one of the dearest friends of the Palestinian people“ Russia is ofc being diplomatic but Abbas, the PNA & PLO are very much disliked by the majority of Palestinians in the West Bank and beyond. They’re seen as traitors to the Resistance. Solutions for Palestine need to be discussed with them for this to be realistic & beneficial. When I was in the occupied West Bank this year, every single person I spoke with pointed this out. They mercilessly mocked Abbas and the PNA as entirely complicit in Israel’s genocide.
