Classification based on Topological Data Analysis Rolando Kindelan

The tutorial shows a methodology to perform classification tasks directly using TDA. We propose a heuristic to select a subcomplex from a filtration using the topological information. Then a link-based label propagation method is used to classify unlabeled points. The proposed method was compared with kNN and weighted-kNN with competitive results.
