Gimnazija Kranj Great Christmas Concert 2014: Night in Paris. In a sold-out Gallus Hall (Cankarjev dom, Slovenia) Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra performed Ravel's masterpiece: Piano Concerto in G major. During the recording of this essential classical piece, I had technical difficulties, so I was able to capture only the second movement of this amazing performance. This is the first time published footage of this amazing performance. The concerto is in three movements and is heavily influenced by jazz, which Ravel had encountered on a concert tour of the United States in 1928.
