Gemini - Mio, Moy Mio (Мио, мой Мио) (1988)

Krugozor (Кругозор) was a Soviet pop culture magazine published between 1964 and 1993. It came with up to six 33 rpm flexi discs with music. In number 2/1988 Mio, My Mio was included in Russian (Мио, Мой Мио), performed by Gemini (Karin and Anders Glenmark), written by B&B. The russian version is not officially released on other media than this blue flexi sheet, stapled into the center of the magazine. The version on the flexi is not the complete song (3:13), and of less than perfect quality. Here, however, is the full studio version (4:17). The song was included on the soundtrack of the film Mio, My Mio based on the high fantasy novel by Astrid Lindgren. The film was an international collaboration and was filmed partly in Belarus where filming was temporarily halted due to the Chernobyl accident.
