In this video series, “What Music Looks Like (to Me/Us),“ I try to draw and paint pictures of what I imagine pieces of music look like as I play them. I'm a freelance artist who also enjoys playing the piano. My recording of Chopin Etude “Octaves“ Sometimes in this series, I'm joined at the easel by my daughter, Emilie. Emilie has her own painting style, but recently asked if she could experiment with something different, like abstract painting. That's how this project, “What Music Looks Like (to Me/Us),“ came about.
