The General Prosecutor's Office is continuing its investigation into the genocide of the Belarusian people. New facts about Hitler's atrocities and their accomplices are revealed every month. This week, new evidence of the mass shooting of civilians from the Great Patriotic War was discovered about a 100 km off Minsk. In Berezinsky District, near Bogushevici agrotown, the military excavated the remains of 86 people, 21 of them children. Despite the defeat of Nazi Germany and its surrender on 9 May 1945, numerous bandits of Polish and Ukrainian nationalists continued to rage in the territory of the BSSR, actively terrorizing the population of Western Belarus (modern-day Grodno and Brest regions). Members of the Armia Krajowa and the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, as well as its armed offshoot, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, continued to genocide civilians for many years after the end of the war. Stories from living witnesses to those terrible events are in Alexander Kamovich's story.
