Bio By She Rox All Female Bands, Boston, Massachusetts based hard rocking Jaded began in 2004, by ex-Tootsie drummer Hillary Kooger stage name Hillary Blaze and guitarist Brittney Denaro, stage name Britt Lightning with the intent to form an all-female hard rock band ala Motley Crue if you will. Drummer turned bassist Abbey Dragon, real name Abbey Denaro, Brittney's sister, would join the band next and finally vocalist Julie Steel real name Julie Bannerton would complete the band's line-up. Jaded quickly grew a large fan base in their local Boston area for their high energy live shows and homage to old school 80's style hard rock and heavy metal, a niche seemed long forgotten by the current music scene, this paved the way for the band's quickly growing popularity and saw them at the forefront of a barren landscape of re-emerging hard rock bands. By 2006 the band would release their self-titled debut and began national touring with the likes of Skid Row and Stryper to name a few. Touring and playing live is really what gained the band their large following and the band became one Boston's most well-known bands, male or female. By 2007 the band released an Ep called Scream, however by this time new bassist Laurel Wolff real name Laurel Marsh would replace Abbey and vocalist Julie Steel would leave the band and was replaced by vocalist Marina Storm, this would be short lived, and the band brought in their third and final vocalist Katy Haze, real name Katy Reign would remain in the band for the duration of their career. Jaded would continue on and released another ep by 2010 called Higher and many hailed it for its crunchy guitar driven hard rock and overall, more honed in sound, fans and critics expected this to be the gateway into a new era of the band, however after the release, fans were left bewildered as the band went on hiatus, at the height their success and popularity. Jaded's hiatus however would eventually become a breakup and the band disappeared quietly. Their legacy and contribution to a revival of hard rock in the early 2000's is quite apparent as new fans discover the band and their recorded material is hard to find and much sought after. Drummer and founder Hillary Blaze would later resurface in the all-female Judas Priest tribute band Judas Priestess, along with founder Brittney Denaro, joining hard rock legends Vixen as their current guitarist. One on One, from the 2006 album, Jaded Julie Steel-Vocals, Abbey Dragon-Bass, Britt Lightning-Bass, Hillary Blaze-Drums.
