The Finnish broadsheet Helsingin Sanomat reviewed Joe's tour opener the day after and the reviewer found this performance to have more soul in it than all the other songs performed that night combined. He was right about it being laden with emotion but dead wrong about the rest of the show, all of which was a stunning jubilee of prowess and emotion rolled into one. But surely this performance should shut the whiners up: if they can't hear the soul, they should do some serious soul-searching. Audio recorded with a Zoom H1 and Soundman II binaural mics. The mixing was not very good so the recording came out echoey and muffled so I used the camera's brighter audio, level about 10%. Thoughts welcome. Footage pretty much straight from the camera, albeit I did brighten it and crop and pan it in a few places. Not stabilized as such, though I did manually stabilize two places in the footage that to me were a little too shaky. One single shot. Pretty pleased with the result.
