Rural village life in England has changed incredibly over the last 1000 years. The Weald and Downland Living Museum does an amazing job of showcasing the history of rural village life in England. Across 40 acres of land, you can visit a large number of buildings, houses and rural trades that explain how village life evolved and how trades have died out. It's also the home of the BBC programme The Repair Shop.
