The new trailer for Federico Fellini's game-changing world cinema classic, back in cinemas from 3 January to celebrate the director's centenary Subscribe: An era-defining fresco of life among the glitterati in early 1960s Rome. Casting a typically critical eye over the world of celebrity, Fellini’s epic La Dolce Vita stands as a towering achievement of 1960s cinema. The episodic narrative follows jaded journalist Marcello Rubini (Mastroianni) as he moves across the Eternal City uncovering gossip on movie stars and other VIPs. The film famously spawned the term ‘paparazzo’ which came to describe a certain type of relentless celebrity photographer.
