The 90s version of The Flash only ran one season, but it was a memorable one and there are still fans who prefer to it the CW's reboot. Certainly the theme was a great one, from Danny Elfman who composed scores for superheroes from Batman to Peter Parker. And Shirley Walker, who adapted the theme into grandly symphonic scores week after week, deserves kudos as well. We include the show's opening titles and closing credits, Xpanded with the longer credits from the pilot film that show off Shirley Walker's musical skills. It's all in stereo, unlike the digital downloads you can rent/purchase that have thin, mono soundtracks. Lesson: Don't throw away your DVDs.
